Interview l Applicants will be interviewed online/onsite and all applicants are required to attend.
Scholarships l Admitted students will receive scholarships provided by the National Development Council, Taiwan and also receive scholarships provide by cooperative companies.
Future Map l Students can stay in Taiwan for employment after graduation.
Additional Notes (Important) [1] Admitted students will receive industry-university scholarships provided by the National Development Council, Taiwan. The subsidy items are as follows: A. Necessary administrative expenses related to the first visit to Taiwan: A one-time subsidy is provided, including health examination fees, visa fees and document verification fees before coming to Taiwan. The upper limit of the subsidy for New southbound regional countries and other countries is 10000 New Taiwan Dollars, and for European and American countries is 25000 New Taiwan Dollars (verification of payment is required). B. One-way air ticket to Taiwan: A one-time subsidy is applied. The air ticket fee must be verified and claimed for the economy class one-way air ticket on the most direct route to Taiwan. The upper limit of the subsidy for New southbound regional countries is 9000 New Taiwan Dollars, and for European and American countries is 35000 New Taiwan Dollars (verification of payment is required). C. Tuition and miscellaneous fees for up to 2 years after registration: i. Subsidies will be provided based on the actual tuition and miscellaneous fees that students should pay to the university, with an annual subsidy upper limit of 100000 New Taiwan Dollars (a maximum of 50000 New Taiwan Dollars for one semester). ii. Tuition and miscellaneous fee subsidies will be provided to students in the first year of enrollment. In the second year, students in the Test of Chinese Language Proficiency (TOCFL) must reach level 1 (inclusive) or above, and students in English-taught classes must reach level A2 (inclusive) or above in both listening and reading, and after the school and cooperative companies review their grades and performance, tuition and miscellaneous fee subsidies will be awarded to the best candidates. [2] The industry will provide each admitted student with a monthly living allowance of more than 10000 New Taiwan Dollars (inclusive). [3] Student obligations A. Students who receive industry-university scholarships provided by the National Development Council, Taiwan are required to stay in Taiwan for a corresponding period of employment based on the number of years they receive it. That is that students need to stay and work in Taiwan for one year after receiving one year scholarship, and students need to stay and work in Taiwan for two years after receiving two years scholarship. Participating companies retain the right to hire students first. [4] Principles for repayment of industry-university scholarships A. If a student drops out of a special class midway or fails to find a job after graduation, the repayment principle of the industry-university scholarship received is as follows: i. Students who withdraw from special classes due to personal reasons during schooling, such as applying to transfer universities, transfer departments, suspend studies and return to the country, give up continuing to study in special classes after counseling by the university, or drop out of university or be expelled from university according to the university's academic regulations, etc., students should fully refund the industry-university scholarships they received. ii. If students have poor academic performance, fail to pass the university and company evaluation standards, and still have no improvement after university counseling and are subject to withdrawal or expulsion in accordance with the academic regulations, students should fully refund the industry-university scholarships they received. iii. If a student chooses not to find employment in a cooperative company or related industry after graduation, and if there is still no improvement after counseling by the university, the student should fully refund the industry-university scholarships he/she received. iv. If a graduate student violates the company's regulations and is terminated from the labor contract according to law, and if there is still no improvement after counseling by the university, the student shall return the scholarship in proportion to the number of months without employment; if it is less than one month, the student shall be counted as one month. v. During the period of employment in a cooperative company, if the student has not yet completed the period of receiving the scholarship, the scholarship shall be repaid in proportion to the number of months he/she has not been employed: if it is less than one month, the scholarship shall be counted as one month. B. During the period when students are fulfilling their employment obligations after graduation, they should stay in Taiwan to work in domestic cooperative company and are not allowed to be assigned by cooperative company to foreign branches or work in overseas Taiwanese company. If there is a situation of not being employed in the country as mentioned above, the scholarship received should be returned in proportion to the number of months of not being employed in the country; if it is less than one month, it will be counted as one month.
