About The Symposium

The 7th International Symposium on Engineering and Technology (ISET 2025) will provide a high level forum for scholars, industry experts, and researchers to share their achievements and explore hot issues in the field of engineering, technology, and agriculture.

ISET 2025 is hosted by National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan. Prof. Takahito Ono

Professor of Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering, Tohoku University, Japan

Prof. Takahito Ono received his PhD in precision engineering from Tohoku University in Japan in 1996. His is currently the director of Micro System Integration Center (uSiC) at Tohoku University. Prof. Ono received Tokin Research Award from Tokin Science Foundation for the development of nanomechanical machines on 2005, also received MNC 2012 Paper Award, 15th International Microprocess and Nanotechnology Conference, IEEJ paper award 2019, Microsystem & Nanoengineering Award 2020, and IEEJ award 2022. He has authored more than 100 SCI papers in the field of MEMS biosensors and presented invite lectures over 60 at international conferences.

Prof. Hiep Thi Nguyen

Dean of the School of Biomedical Engineering, International University, VNU-HCMC, Vietnam

Prof. Nguyen Thi Hiep earned her Master’s in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering (2009) and PhD (2012). She returned to Vietnam to co-manage the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine labs at International University, VNU-HCMC. Her research focuses on biomaterials for medical and pharmaceutical use. She has received major awards, including the National L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science (2016), ASEAN-US Science Prize for Women (2017), and L’Oreal-UNESCO International Rising Talents (2018). She has published over 70 ISI/Scopus papers, holds 3 patents, and actively promotes women and youth in STEM.

All accepted papers from ISET2025 are invited to submit their full manuscripts to the special issue "Advances in Biosensing Technologies (Adv. Bio. Tech.)" of the Chinese Journal of Physics for publication. The Chinese Journal of Physics has an Impact Factor of 4.6 and is ranked Q1 in the SCIE index. The submission will be treated as subscription-based, and no article processing charge (APC) is required.
